FALL
The colors prettify the Season
Many leaves, but no flowers,
Who knows the Nature reason,
When it gives that sort of empowers,
Perhaps a renewed coming fashion
Allowing the forest a clothes changing
Waiting Halloween with real passion
While their leaves get falling.
Trees painted from gold to red
And the wood becomes full of tones.
However, the wind put down on the stones
Each leaf it faces in the path ahead.
Then a big change happens at last
Leafless branches appear in the night
As ancient fingers coming from the past
Hurt the Moon, but do not stop the moonlight.

This poem was inspired by little poetic verses created by my grandson, ENZO, when he was talking to his lovely and amazing Grand Mother Liliana.
They are:
“The trees change the clothes waiting for Halloween”.
“The leafless branches are hurting the Moon”.
